MEET OUR NUTRITIONIST
PAYTON BREWER
Payton was born and raised in a family that valued physical activity and healthy living. Despite this supportive environment, during her teenage years, she struggled with poor eating habits. These habits led to significant weight gain and challenges with her health and self-esteem by the age of fifteen.
Determined to regain control over her well-being, Payton committed to making lasting lifestyle changes, all beginning at Gold’s Gym. Through adopting a nutrient-dense diet and increasing her physical activity, she lost 50 pounds and has maintained this for six years.
Payton soon recognized that her true calling was in exercise physiology and nutrition. She pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami, graduating in just three years at the age of 20. There, she engaged in research on food addiction and contributed to a nutrition startup program.
Continuing her education, Payton earned a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a concentration in Sports Nutrition from the University of Georgia. During this time, she gained valuable hands-on experience supporting collegiate athletes in the Olympic Sports Nutrition Department to optimize their performance through tailored nutrition strategies.
Payton will complete her Dietetic Internship at the University of Miami Health System, furthering her expertise to become a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). Her dedication to combining exercise physiology with nutrition drives her mission to positively impact the health and performance of athletes and individuals alike.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Payton enjoys lifting weights, experimenting with new recipes, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her creativity through painting and graphic design. Her journey reflects a holistic approach to health which balances mind, body, and passion.
